You say tomato, we say tomatoe!

Oh no not more tomatoes grandad! We've had an abundance of tomatoes so far......I've made gallons of tomato sauce for pasta dishes! Some with garlic, some with chilli, some plain, which is Emily's favourite! We have salads with tomatoes, sandwiches with tomatoes, bacon and tomatoes on toast, you name it and we've had it, with tomatoes! Nothing quite like growing your own for flavour though....we have also grown a different variety this year called "Black Russian", quite large, dark purple/red in colour, looks like a beef tomato, tastes lovely but not in this blip as we've eaten them all ( with tomatoes of course) :-D
