Life is (Seemingly) Unfair

Just to show - sunshine in Britain - though pretty cold and plenty of rain this afternoon.

Went with D to take Zion for his first immunisations - his grief was total (for a few minutes) - always think it's a baby's introduction to the unfairness of the world - here he was, smiling at the nice doctor and on his best behaviour, and then gets stuck - twice!

He can't know - but it IS for his own long-term well-being - or at least, that's what we believe at the moment.

PS Just realised my photo a year ago was of the elephant garlic we were given - what is funny is that today M harvested the head from one of its cloves that he planted.
