A bit of a squash

Day 17 and as you can see the swallows look fantastic. A wonderful colour now all their feathers have come through. More alert and today at least two have flown from the nest to the beams below. I have nt seen them venture outside and I do nt blame them as it's still quite wet but the wind has gone. They fly back up to the nest and manage to push themselves back in.

The woodpecker has also been down, hanging on to the nuts with it's long feet and claws and poking his long beak in between the wires to reach the nuts.

My Dad had another check up at the hospital today and great news as he is still cancer free, thank goodness :)
