dock

it's been a busy day of seeing friends, some of whom I'm not sure we'll see again. There have been just-in-case-goodbyes, hugs and well wishes. A fun-filled playdate was had down on Mumford Cove beach. The little people swashing about in the warm shallows, riding their boogie boards and constructing sloppy wet sand castles on the water line. Us grown ups grabbed conversations when we could, watchful over the watery activities. Then home with one exhausted girl for some quiet time. Later we stuffed black bags with linens and bedding ready for the charity collecting 'everything' on Thursday. A walk down to the dock for sunset rounded off another stunningly sunny day.
