Church this morning. She came out from Sunday school very excited that they had been having a party in their group. Even more exciting, there were extremely yummy cakes after church for a goodbye to some lovely church members.

We headed home for lunch and some chill out time. I thought she might fall asleep but she came round and did some serious dress up.

During the afternoon we got what we was told was the leftovers from what had been hurricane Bertha. It was impressive rain. Thankfully when we walked out for tea with friends, it had eased off. However by the time we wanted to go, it was torrential. We waited until it had nearly gone. The children then enjoyed the chance to make the most of it. We went back to theirs to dry off, eat crumble and watch a movie, the children snuggled in jammies.
