All the fun of the Feria

Our arrival at the Fair tonight was perfectly timed for the arrival of the clown band. This week is Fiesta week (culminating on Friday when there will be fireworks on the beach). Without any health and safety constraints the fair was pure, loud, bright mayhem and our favourite ride involved children being hit with straw batons by a matador and Spider-Man.

The rest of the day was fun but definitely calmer. A few jobs around the casa, not least rigging up some temporary electricity to part of the house that had lost it, and a work call were less fun but there has been enough playing of cards, inventing a new Monsters High card game with Anna and volleyball in the pool to more than balance that out. Though the highlight of the day and the Fair was definitely winning a Simpsons style doughnut cushion. One day I will blip it and you too will revel in its beauty.

For now I'm off to try and see some meteors.
