Track race in the Ratina stadium

Emma's basketball team participated to the weekly Hippo track race in Ratina stadium. Girls did long jump and 100 m sprint. Minttu was also racing.

Low pressure system brings scattered rain showers and lower temperatures to Finland signalling the start of an end to the almost record-breaking heatwave that has continued for 37 days. The previous record for non-stop hot weather was set in 1973 with 38 days. This month-long spell of balmy temperatures in Finland has been the result of a strong and extensive high pressure front that has hovered over Northern Europe and kept low pressure fronts from the Atlantic over the ocean and to the west.
