Knock out
I visited Viktor Jansson exhibition "sculptor and father" in Tampere-talo. Viktor Jansson (1886 – 1958) was Tove Jansson's father. He sculptured mainly young female figures and little boys. In his portrayal of boys, Jansson has captured their endearing appearance and active movement that is emphasized by flowing hair. While Jansson's female characters are static or take just one step at most, his child motifs are snapshots of having fun. In the picture the sculpture named Knock out.
There are four Jansson's sculptures in Tampere (two of them I have blipped; young woman and Statue of Liberty. )
