Stumbled across a fascinating show on SBS telly 'A year in Kew' and one of participants was a fellow Nigel who for decades has made daily notes of when plants flowered in Kew.
So impressed where the powers that be that there is now an official position continuing his notes and observations.
He started when he was nine!! recording the daffodils in his family's garden and so it blossomed over half a century.
Very cool.
