Between Showers

The rain woke me up this morning it was so loud. And it kept on raining all day.
And hailing.
And pouring.
With teeny bits of sun in between.
We went to the garden centre first thing for the Little Misses to spend their marble money.
Miss L bought a pirate sticker activity book.
Miss E bought Purple Fin - another fish!
I think we may need to get a new tank!
Mrs Z, Mr K, Miss A and Mr H came round after lunch and we had a lovely afternoon with lots of chat and nibbles.
And endless crazy "shows" from the children. These mostly involved swinging on the swing and dressing up and screeching that the show was starting and running in and out of the room to discuss the show.
I'm torn between not wanting to thwart their creativity and dramatic tendencies and wanting to tell them to shoo and stop being annoying!
Another fraught evening with Miss E. I'm hoping this phase is a short one because I hate it when she's so clearly not herself and we can't seem to reach her. Sigh.
