Landslide

Back to the sunny weather again today after all that rain yesterday!

Up early and out for walkies with Sammy dog and mam's dogs around Cunningsburgh. After I went for a run around the south end of Shetland to have a look at the damage caused from yesterday's rain. I had my Sunday dinner at the Lerwick Hotel. Nicely refurbished and great food but ate too much :) After lunch, it was back into the sunshine with more walkies with the dogs and then off to work in the pub tonight.

There has been various damage to most parts of Shetland. In Cunningsburgh we had two burns with burst banks and flooding. I headed down towards the south end of Shetland and there had been various landslides in places. This is one of the landslides at Vatster, in the Maywick road. Very close to the houses but luckily no one hurt and hope no animals were hurt either.
