My mum and dad arrived to visit and help do summer holidays childcare. Before they came we went to a lovely pal's joint 40th party out in Currie. Great house, marquee in the garden and a winding path down to the Water of Leith.

I ate my body weight in scones and am pretty sure I'm still digesting them 15 hours later.

The big one kept disappearing down to the river and being adventurous (and giving us a fright as we didn't know where she was). The little one confirmed that she is indeed under the weather by not finishing her brownie (I, thoughtfully, assisted).

We're hoping to go to Pittenweem on Sunday, but the weather looks ominous...
