And after several toasts and birthday wishes to our dear friend, the band played on (The Trentham Brass Band).

We've had a lovely afternoon enjoying an 'Afternoon Tea Party' to celebrate a special friend's Special Birthday with her family and mutual friends. The evening's music entertainment took on a very different tempo however and we had to sing for our supper!! Some talented young guitarists with lots of audience participation! It was lovely to see so many people in one family with such musical talents. The weather was kind, a bit windy at times, but the open-sided marquees stayed put.
