The Pekin Bantam

These are the 'Lavenders' of the Pekin breed of Bantam and my favourite. I used to have most of the colours, Lavender, Red, White, Black and Cuckoo. Pekins are the most delightful breed of Bantam and "Jo" the Red and very handsome Cockerel I once had was as soft as a brush.

These Bantams belong to my "dressmaker" friend who I called in to see after work this evening and they seem to have grown since Wednesday when I last saw them.

Phew, glad it wasn't so hot today as the full suit of armour I had hired from the local fancy dress shop to wear all day at work would have been unbearable!! As it happened Day 2 without the boss has gone alot better than day 1, but I'm still glad its Friday!!
