I was up and about a bit earlier than I expected and intended to be this morning so did the only sensible thing and took myself off for a decent pre-breakfast swim and got a few photos of my favourite knackered old neighbourhood building on the way back, intending to then leave the camera at home and go into town later for fringe-type stuff. But then once the girls came back from their respective sleepovers we decided to have a festival-free family trip out of town instead to go and have a look at Falkirk's kelpies. And very impressive they were too.
