Busy Day

First a long walk with the dogs in case we have a wet day tomorrow with the threat of this hurricane which I will believe when I see it, though yesterday we had real downpour for several hours plus thunder storms round here. Lots of local flooding too. Molly is getting really good off the lead and walks with us so nicely.

Then I made some butterfly buns because we had forgot Molly's birthday last month so we had a little party this afternoon, but we can't sing Happy Birthday because Maddy runs away, I think she got a bit too near the candles a couple of years ago so we don't have candles now and we don't sing.

Next was Blackberry Jam making followed by a bit of gardening, well chopping up the branches of the lilac trees we cut down last month.
