Rain, rain go away

Torrential rain last night which caused the gutters and streets to overflow.

Once the rain started to ease the power went off at just before 10pm.

Lots of running around in the dark looking for torches, candles and matches.

After 13 hours within power it finally came back on!

It really makes you realise how much everything you have at home is dependant on electricity and how much you miss it for even the basics like hot water and a cup of tea.
