Lavender

Oh my goodness it's been a long trying day.
It started off well with the Little Misses getting up nicely by themselves and pottering for a while.
Then Miss E put on a lovely show about the World with all sorts of interesting facts and questions. Cost me a pound to watch it mind!
Then we had a very lovely lazy morning - me in a very long leisurely bath, the Little Misses doing yoga on the Wii. With yoga mats and everything!
The zen atmosphere didn't last unfortunately. There has been bickering, squabbling, teasing, manic tears and tantrums, grunting, eye rolling, selective hearing and general bluuughh-ness.
There was a brief lull when we went swimming in the afternoon but it went downhill again with hysteria in the changing room.
They're in bed now - at 7pm. Miss L is asleep, Miss E is reading her Princess Academy books. My attempted bribe of marbles if she was asleep when I checked on her in ten minutes was a big fat fail.
She was awake until 10pm last night which may explain the lunacy today.
