Lovely evening spent in Docklands with Mr M.

Mr M had to go to the ExCeL to register for Sunday's Prudential Ride London 100k bike ride. He's riding for a charity called Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY for short) in memory of his daughter Claire.

Claire died just over five years ago of heart failure. She was born with a heart defect and after 26 years it finally beat her. Today would have been Claire's birthday so it seemed appropriate to go and register.

I had several firsts this evening. I've never been to ExCeL, I've never been on the Emirates Airline, and I've never been to the O2. This evening I managed to do all three! The views from the Emirates Airline were amazing!

We also went on board Sunborn yacht hotel moored in Docklands. It only opened in June and they seemed very keen to show people around.
