"christmas everyday"

After a hectic day flat hunting yesterday, it was lovely to escape back to the highlands today - or at least the gateway to them....

....Pitlochry.

What a beautiful little highland town! We visited the dam and 'fish ladder' and the Queen's view, where mum and dad found their appropriate seating, leaving me with the commoners bench that had nothing written on it!

A quick stop for coffee before heading home and we found a 'Christmas Emporium' shop. Inside was a Christmas grotto.....in June! The girl in the shop had her Christmas apron on and was listening to a Christmas music CD! IN JUNE!!!!!!

It really is Christmas everyday in Pitlochry! haha!

Oh well, at least we know that the 29th June means its only 179 days until Christmas! Best get the shopping started then eh?

Stopped off at a wildlife reserve on the way back that had a resident nesting Osprey pair but after sitting quietly for 25 minutes in the hide, they were nowhere to be seen! Better luck next time!
