The Commonwealth Relay baton arrived in Dundee today!

Having been lucky to catch a glimpse of the Olympic torch twice in 2012, both at home and in Dundee, I was determined not to miss my only chance to see the baton!

And what a lovely surprise it was to see Abertay's very own Sports Development Officer Ali Bell as the final relay runner to bring the baton into city square! She is part of Scotland's hockey squad.

And then there was the ceilidh in the square - a slow burner but eventually it seemed to work and they pulled it off! haha!

Having only just said goodbye to them on Monday, I get a last minute visit from my parents this weekend as I try to find somewhere new to live - we haven't done this for 4 years!!
