What a book!

This is for my Thoughtful Thursday challenge.

I first read this when I was in my teens and I cried. My copy fell to pieces.
We went to Falmouth recently and that sparked memories of the descriptions of the Fal in the novel so I went on a hunt to find a copy. It had to be second hand but I have just finished reading if again. It's really made me think about the relationships between parents and children and how complex they are throughout our lives.
