Favourite places

Today was the last day our friends Jill and Dave were to be with us. Orkney blessed us with beautiful sunshine and we piled in the car and headed off to Happy Valley. It is a beautiful little place and we enjoyed it nearly as much as the dogs did. It is my beautiful girl's favourite place.
After Happy Valley, we were off to Yesnaby, where this sea stack is to be found. The tour buses were out in force, but we were soon far from the madding crowds, basking in sunshine and soaking up beautiful views. Once again Orkney proved too big for my camera and I barely did it justice. Yesnaby is one of my favourite places, it changes every time I am there and is breathtaking...
