Captain Talisker (the Bewildered)
Today was the first day of the wifeycle's holiday. Originally it had been planned that we would head south and spend time catching up with a few people, but circumstances have changed and we will be having a holiday at home. It means I get to be tour guide some more, which I quite enjoy.
This morning was spent sorting a few things out around the house before the offer of free tickets to Monty Python (almost) Live meant we had to head to Kirkwall. Tickets collected we headed to Inganess bay where the wreck of part of the Juanita lies close to the beach. She was originally sunk as a blockship in 1939, then the forward section towed to Inganess bay and left on the shore.
Talisker photobombed my shot and, probably, improved it.
