My Photographic Footprint

Madonna and Seals.

I have a habit of forming 'Studies/Offices' in rooms and then get bored and move to another.
There is always something left behind, if it still looks good there.

This is such a spot. It is where I keep the seals for pressing the wax on the backs of envelopes, presents, or anything I can wave matches and molten wax over to effect..
In with the seals is some ink and a glass pen I was given when in Venice, by a young artist who went with me.
I put the postcard of (a detail) of a Bellini painting behind these objects, as it looks wonderful in the half light. And the original had captured me for about 20 minutes when we saw it at the Academia on that rainy day years ago.

I took this on Sunday Saturday, and had forgotten. So this is a stop gap. But of a favourite painting, and some special tools of my trade.
