Dragon or Damsel?

This is my first attempt at capturing a Dragonfly (or maybe Damsel?!) I have no idea whether it's male or female or what species it is! All I do know is that it is rather an attractive colour, has beautiful filigree like wings and a furry torso with a little knobbly head!! Any identification tips or comments will be greatly received! :-)
