Second flowering,

This is our Magnolia which flowered so spectacularly in the spring.
Remarkably, it has decided to flower again - which is both unusual and unexpected. Perhaps it is becoming as confused as the changing seasons, and with the effects of global warming?
Are Magnolias elsewhere undergoing second flowering?
