Backwash......

No, not the icky kind in a soda bottle...this was an awesome backwash!

High tide and a big swell at North Avoca which resulted in waves breaking over the rocks below the headland. This caused a cascade of water over the downward sloping rocks back down towards the beach. It was SO much fun playing with the flow patterns and I took way too many pictures.
It was a super fun shoot and a great way to de-stress after a fairly arduous day at work.
Dinner was taking care of itself at home in the slow cooker and kids were busy doing homework.
