Yawning

The Twickenham station refurb continues and now the platform cafe has been shut. In fact large areas of the platforms are now fenced off, so there is less and less space to stand. This morning I noticed more fencing-off had happened overnight and there were a couple of blokes in hi-bus jackets loitering on the platform - for crowd control purposes no doubt. The areas of the platform with the most space are also the places with no roof, so it's going to be fun when it rains. This work will take until January to complete...

Anyway, the on-platform cafe has relocated upstairs (to the place on the way in to the ticket hall where there used to be a cafe, which went out of business...). I went in this morning and spotted these amusing signs. Not sure if they'll be readable on blip - they aren't on my phone.
