Blythe and Julie had a Very Fun Weekend in Taupō

A little disappointed it rained all weekend and that we missed out on some things we wanted to do but I had the time of my life in Taupō! Staying in the hostel was really fun and it made me excited to travel more throughout New Zealand. Taupō was beautiful even in overcast! I don't want to go back to all the school work I have. Getting lost on that trail, the rain, Gus the shuttle driver bailing on a ride, but I was happy the whole weekend to be in such a beautiful place!

We had to check out of our hostel at 10 but still had a couple of hours to kill before the bus came to take us back to Auckland. Breakfast and a café was about all we could do (it was raining again) but I hope to come back through Taupō at some point of my travels and get to do those things I missed out on!

Above is a picture I took from inside the bus on the way home, which was a lot nicer in the daylight. I saw lots of cows and lots of sheep and some really pretty scenery.

Back to life in Albany and class tomorrow at 8 am. Gosh I hope I finish this film analysis and annotated bibliography due this weekend.
