Frozen Ginkgo

It was white over this morning, really thick. At first glance I thought it was snow.

I should have gone out with my camera much sooner. But I have a lot of calligraphy to do today so I have been stuck indoors mostly. (Rather a relief).

I saw this Ginkgo leaf though, lying on the green. It looked like a tiny white frilled fan.
