Tampa Seller's Wheel

Today I brought dad his breakfast in bed and made sure he was alright before starting my own. He was still sore and tired but was looking a bit more like his usual self.

After breakfast Luke and I walked into Hillsborough to see Fiona. We went for a coffee in a lite cafe in the main road and spent a hour and a half chatting and having a good old catch up. She seems happy and excited as her sister's baby is due early next week and Little Mo Peep, as it has been nicknamed, is eagerly awaited for in the Hutty-Mo family!

Once we had drunk up we walked back to the house where we collected Jenny and all met Tricia in town to go for lunch at a place that Jenny heard about that makes New Zealand style food. In the end it turns out that Tricia has eaten at Seller's Wheel a few times and the food we could see on the menu was tasty but not very authentic for NZ!
Anyway Luke and I both ordered an amazing pulled pork sandwich with some delicious sauce and braised red cabbage, Jenny had the caprese burger and Tricia had the Thai beef noodle salad.

It was lovely to catch up and talk about holidays taken and holidays planned and then about weddings.
When we left we all walked back up to John Lewis where we parked the car and drove back home.

In the early evening Luke and I drove to Manchester to Cheadle to visit his dad and Claire at the Bus Head pub for dinner. We had a lovely evening talking about our new place in London and work and getting advice from them about all kinds of things which was so nice of them. The food was good, my pear, Brie and walnut salad was exactly what I needed, and we talked, ate and drank with each other's good company.

Before leaving I showed Claire the dresses I have bought for my bridesmaids and the one wedding dress I have tried on so far and she loved them both. Funnily enough she said my dress was exactly what she had pictured for me to wear!

We drive home that night enjoying the darkness through the snake pass on the way back to Sheffield for bed.

Today I am grateful for the chance to see so many family members in one day, so far it has been a very busy week but I have loved the chance to catch up with everyone.
