A Day for Hats

Today is the first Sunday of the month so the Sunday Market was on at Westerpark just next to our digs. When we went to the market in April, we decided that we had to come back - hence this visit. The market is simply fabulous with so many interesting people, nifty things to buy and delicious food. We found the lovely man who sells hats and Dr T bought a Panama hat - very suitable for the weather.

Today was hot! After a few hours at the park, we returned home to cool down before going out for a wander and a sit down by the canal, watching the world go by in boats small and large.

I then went back to Westerpark to the cinema to see A Thousand Times Good Night. I think it's easily one of Juliette Binoche's best films. Powerful stuff.
