Sunrise from the 43rd Floor

We woke at 5am, well given our location we weren't going to miss the sunrise whatever the weather. We watched for nearly an hour before retiring back to what felt like the world's comfiest bed. After a soak in the bath for Annie with this view and a leisurely breakfast we were very sad to check out of our lovely room. It had been a real treat, and not one we will be able to repeat any time soon!

While we were there we took a trip up to The View From The Shard, the public viewing galleries on the 69th and 72nd floors. It was a beautiful day and really clear so we had great views.

Although we got some great shots from the viewing gallery, it really had to be a sunrise blip given the early call.
