Day 14

Last day.

Today was the first day of our 2 weeks that it rained for most of the day so we were going to use this to do the last bit of shopping.

First off was the St Austell brewery to buy some beer to take home. Can you believe it, it was closed for a private function, yup, even the shop, needless to say I was gutted. After that we headed on back to Heligan to buy some plants, that was open, yippee.

As the rain kept falling we decided to head back to base camp for some food and a chill before we headed back down to the harbour for the last time. After a bit of shopping, as you can see by the photo, we bought the important stuff, we headed off to the pub for the last time. We played cards and sampled a few pints before calling it a day, or even 2 weeks.

I will miss Cornwall and especially Mevagissey, but i won't miss all those steps. Time to go home for a rest, lol.
