leaving the camera

Last night of the fiesta. I decided to ditch the camera and just enjoy the spectacle and music. Beside the flat we are renting is this door. An auspicious Hindu symbol that has been, of course, ruined by its association with the Nazi party. Even some Hindus look a bit sheepish when the symbol is displayed, which is a real pity as it existed for thousands of years before Hitler used it to symbolise his insanity.

But the image itself benefits from this double meaning, especially with the spy-hole positioned just above it.

So I'll leave it there as I'm feeling a little tender after last night's party.
