Shropshire Lavender

I spent a lovely afternoon at the Shropshire Lavender Farm (link won't work for some reason, sorry!!). Only a little Lavender left now as it is nearing the end of the season and due to the mild Spring even the Lavender has peaked early!

Anyhow, there was a little left to be seen and I was surrounded by Butterflies and Bees in abundance, Lavender products of all kinds in the shop and after a walk around the lovely grounds I sat in the Lavender Tea Garden and enjoyed a pot of Earl Grey and a large slice of Lemon Drizzle G/F cake and was joined by Blossom, one of the owners' Hens, who was very keen to join me to collect any crumbs I dropped and even came to sit beside me watching intently whilst I enjoyed the cake!!
