Words and pictures.......

I love an overstuffed bookshelf!
Too many books squashed and piled
Squeezed into every available corner.

This is just one of my bookcases
I have been moving and sorting today
I have so many books
Some I've read, but just as many are waiting
Quietly, patiently, sitting on their shelves,
Until I choose them, to share some quiet time with me.

I was mildly surprised at the amount of self help books I have
Books on relationships, books on meditation
Books on depression and the law of attraction
Some I've read, some I've dipped into
But many are waiting unread, but ready
Maybe by some magical osmosis
Some of the help and advice will seep out
And find it's way to me to tide me over
Until I get round to reading them

I was googling quotes about reading yesterday
For an idea I had for work
And I came across this one.......

That is me.
I buy books that look interesting and pop them onto my shelves
And more recently, onto a pile growing up my sitting room wall
They are my Life's Library, waiting patiently
I will read them all in time
