Grumpy Old Man

Beautiful species

A quick Blip before setting off for the station and a train ride from Oban to Manchester Airport, via Glasgow, of course, to meet my American garden lovers tomorrow morning. I'm not sure what the Blipping situation will be over the next couple of weeks, so unless I can find internet access in some of the hotels I might be doing some major back-blipping when I get home!

Anyway, this is a lovely species - Hydrangea aspera 'Villosa Group, as we now have to call Hydrangea villosa. It makes quite a tall shrub with the lacecap head of wild hydrangea species. Now off to finish packing!
