Renewal

I decided to renew my Japanese driver's license since it expires on tomorrow and I want to be able to drive in August and if I ever come back. It's an easy process, so why not? Easy it was... fun, it was not. Basically, you pay the money, get your forms checked then have to listen to this old man talk for 2 hours. It would have been fine if it was interesting and necessary things that he was talking about, but the first 30 minutes he just talked about the different levels of drivers' licenses and the process of renewing them all. There was very little useful information. I think there were more people sleeping in that room than in an after-lunch lesson in the summer at my junior high.
