Live Zone at the Green

We had to give it a try, even though it was pouring with rain. We had lunch in Amore on Ingram Street then walked down to Glasgow Green. It wasn't too bad to begin with, but the rain got steadily heavier as the afternoon went on. Orla begged to go on that Ferris wheel in the background, "it is the day before my real birthday". Ed took her on and Conor and I went for a wander. We found a show for toddlers being staged under a canopy next to the Peoples' Palace. He got so into it, he was laughing his head off and clapping his hands.

By the time Ed and Orla got off the Ferris wheel, they were soaked. We camped out in the Winter Garden for 10 minutes or so to dry out then headed back to the car. Ed left us to go meet Iain and Matthew at the Old Fruitmarket and Orla, Conor and I drove home. We changed into our pyjamas and are having our tea while watching the Lego movie (again).
