Hitting the Kitchen

A big day of decorating today...

I have to say that dynabolts are an amazing piece of engineering and I hate them. Finally managed to get most of them out though (with huge holes in the wall!). Also, cutting cornice and retrofitting it is HARD. I ended up with plaster everywhere, lots of pieces of cornice that were too small and Miles' wardrobe still doesn't have a cornice.

Oh well, I think I know what I'm doing for the next attempt.

Gina and Sue (with a bit of help from me...) repainted the horrible laminate wood in the kitchen. It is no more, and the kitchen feel about 40 times bigger.

Now we just need to put up shelves and make the room functional again...
