La Forclaz 1527m

Waking to the sun shining was a pleasant change to the last few days - hopefully something like normal service might now be resumed. With so much rain over the last few days it was evident that we'd have some mist to contend with - but that just gave the early part of the day an atmospheric feel. Our route today had no great ascent - rather a gentle pace along the Bovine route passing through some wonderful Alpages and stopping for hand pressed apple juice in the (finally) bright sunshine. Views stretched over to the Grand Muveran and the Dents du Midi - finally the clients were getting to see some of the majesty of the high mountains.
A happy group ambled into Champex and a couple were even brave enough to go for a swim in the (freezingly cold) lake.
