Claverton Down

Today I'm getting everything together for my trip to Bath tomorrow, for Britain Yearly Meeting Gathering. It's my first time attending it, and I'm pretty excited at the thought of worshipping with 2,000 other Quakers, while we collectively discern over the course of a week what it means to be a Quaker today. I'll be meeting old friends, and making new ones as well.

This bit of the OS Explorer Map 155 shows the area the Gathering will be held at, on the campus of the University of Bath. The area marked 'Sports Training Village', near the centre of the map, is the site of the Gathering Village, including the Big Top tent where some of the main events will take place.
