Sicilian Avenue, Bloomsbury
I headed into London this morning to get my hair cut. I'd bought a Groupon deal because I refuse to pay ridiculous amounts of money just for someone to cut a couple of centimetres off my hair. So I headed into Central London and went in search of my hairdresser. On my journey I wandered past the entrance to Sicilian Avenue which was built in 1910. It is a lovely little pedestrian street with lots of shops and restaurants. I like the old world Italian feel the large stone inscriptions gave.
The rest of my day was spent planning my whirlwind trip to Paris! I am getting on a bus at 9:30pm tonight, arrive in Paris at 8:30am tomorrow morning, have about 14 hours there and then jump back on a bus to London! I'm assuming I'll be pretty darn tired by the end of the whole adventure, but I am sure it will be worth it!
