I ventured to the British Museum today and found this gorgeous carving of Ganesha, the Indian God of good beginnings and remover of obstacles. This was just part of a much bigger piece but I decided to go with the close up so you could see more detail.

I also hunted down a few more Book Benches today but thought I would take a break from blipping them, although there were few great contenders!

Later I enjoyed a quiet beer in Greenwich with my housemate Amanda, as we were getting out of the house so our crazy Italian landlord Francesco could show the place to potential new tenants. I tried the Meantime Wheat Beer which is locally brewed. I really enjoyed it and recommend it if you're ever in town!
