Woolly Neighbours

A couple of days ago this particularly fine flock of sheep moved into a field just adjacent to our village. I've been admiring them from the car and this morning walked to the edge of the village in order to look at them for a bit longer and take their picture.

In fact, this is only about one third of the flock - to get all of them in I would have had to take such a distant photo that you'd have been unable to see what fine woolly specimens they are.

Although I'm really an urban girl at heart, sometimes the sights of the countryside do bring a smile to my face - just as these wonderful sheep did this morning!
