Moderately promising news about my uncle so my folks left at lunchtime as planned.

A glorious but unexpected drive through the Hampshire countryside courtesy of the trailer lock found in K's pocket when we got home last night. The key saga is finally sorted, I've bought the necessaries to unblock the bath plug hole* and had a slightly too productive trip to the library. I may try to argue that reading some of these while monitoring the cricket and Commonwealth Games can be construed as work/research.
