Cannot take the farmer out of me!

I grew up on a small town in central California so fruit trees were plentiful. Moving to Oregon I have missed having fresh fruit growing in my yard. Oh, we have apples and pears......but I craved something juicy.....these plums are just what I need!

I planted a plum tree last year and I didn't expect to have many plums this year. I was delighted when I explored my garden today and found these plums. It looks like they will be ready to pick in about a week.

Actually my small tree is covered with fruit. I love how they cluster close to the branch.
