Winter beach...

They said it was going to be warm today..16 degrees. I didn't feel warm, and I read that we have severe wind warnings for tonight and tomorrow now. Winds strong enough to bring down trees etc...it is as still as anything here at the moment.

I had a bit of a busy day, driving all over the place . Ended up near the beach at one stage and had Banjo with me so went down and had a quick walk. It was pretty cold and bleak, but still nice in that wintery sort of way.The clouds were pretty out toward the Kaikoura ranges.
